How to register for NHIF online can be done from everywhere. National Hospital Insurance Fund is a Kenya government state corporation with a mandate to provide health insurance to Kenyans. How to replace lost NHIF card.
If you lost your NHIF card, you can get a replacement by paying Ksh 100 at either National Bank, Equity Bank, or KCB. However, ensure you inform the bank teller you are paying for NHIF card replacement. Once you have paid, present the bank slip to any NHIF branch.
Settlements?
The hospital gives settlement claims direct to NHIF. However, this is after the contributors have left the hospitals. The claims then undergo examination by the fund to ensure validity before payment.
