The former first lady was born on April 26, 1970. Therefore, she is 54 years old. Her parents are Amalija Knavs and Viktor Knavs. Her mother, Amalija worked in the textiles while her father, on the other hand sold cars. Melania has two siblings, Ines Knaus and Dennis Cigelnjak. Melaria and her siblings had a normal childhood.
She was raised in yoguslavia and studied at Ejublijana university. However, she did not complete her studies in the university as she left to pursue modelling.

So, Melania started her modelling career at the age of 16. She had dropped her official name to Melanin Knauss. Again, she signed her first contract in Italy at the age of 18. Later, she moved to New York, and carried on with her modelling career. This was in the year 1996. However, she met Trump in the year 1998 when she was still modelling.
By this time, Trump was finalizing his divorce. She played significant roles in his campaign in the year 2015. In one of her interviews, she said that she focused to help children and women as a first lady. However, she was highly criticized for copying Michelle Obama’s speeches. Additionally, she was engaged in a tag of war with the law and daily mails owner. This is after she sued them with article damage. They finally settled the case. As a result, Melania was compensated $2.9 million.
Melania’s mother dies
It was announced on January 10,2024 that Amalija Knaus had died. The announcement was made by Trump. The cause of her death is however unknown. This comes a short while after Trumph had announced that she was very ill. Amalija died at 78 years.
