Las Vegas Strip is a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard in Clack County, Nevada. However, it is well known for its numerous casinos and resort hotels. The Strip, often referred as Las Vegas is close to 6.8 km which is equivalent to 4.2 miles long. The Strip contain largest casino ,hotel and resort in the world which are known for their artifacts, lights and many other things making it the most iconic destination of tourist in the world.

So, in 2000s, spas, special retail, high end dining and nightclubs became one of the options for visitors to the opening Bellagio, Palazzo, Venetian, Encore and Wynn resorts. Also the other old resorts that were on expansion and renovation. Plans for construction of 7$ billion multi-purpose project “City center” was announced in 2004 and project opened on the end of 2009. City center consists of casino ,condo ,retail ,art ,business, hotel and many other making it the largest such complex on a 66-acres.There have been renovations and renaming of resorts over time and also construction of new ones.

There have been changes in the mix of table from 1985 to 2019 where

  • Blackjack tables decreased by 22%.
  • Craps revenue decreased by 17%.
  • Roulette tables increased by 50% as well as revenue.
  • Baccarat tables increased by 11% and revenue by 24%.
  • Other games have increased in number of tables, revenue and popularity.t These games are pai gow poker, mini-baccarat and three-card poker.

Expansion of sport betting facilities in addition to upgrading of facilities and equipment have been done by casino operators because they generate a lot of revenue in other areas such as drinks and food.

Entertainment at Las Vegas Strip

In Las Vegas Strip there are lounges ,showrooms ,nightclubs and theatres located on hotel casino properties .Many famous artists have performed in The Strip. They include Jennifer Lopez, Criss Angel ,Shania Twain among many others. There are also free attractions that include Fall of Atlantis Fountain and Festival Fountain at Caesars Palace, water fountain at Bellagio and the volcano at The Mirage. Most resorts have showroom and live music venue and also few large multipurpose arenas for entertainment. Major venues include;
