This is the type that lasts for a very long time. For instance money problems, health issues, or even an unhappy marriage. Chronic stress is a problem. It may last for weeks or months.

A person can manage stress through the following activities.

- Therapy.
- Get enough sleep.
- Avoid drugs and alcohol.

- A person should spend time with friends and family.
- In addition, a person should manage their time. This is by maintaining a health work and life balance.
However, stress is a condition within our lives. So, it does not need to be a long-term solution. All in all, one should seek therapy when it becomes unbearable.
