There are several tourist attraction sites in Kajiado county. Kajiado county covers an area of 21,901 square kilometers, with an estimated population of 987,070 people. However, it has major towns and they include; Kitengela, Ngong, Ongata Rongai, Kiserian, Magadi, Isinya, and Oloitokitok. The following are tourist attraction sites found in Kajiado county.

1. Amboseli National Park.

This is one of Kenya`s most popular parks and the best place to view. Secondly, it is a place that has wildlife such as Leopards, Wild dogs, Cheetahs, and Elephants.

2. Olorgesalie.

This is a pre-historic site located along Magadi road. However, it has features like stone tools which were used by early men. Secondly, it has campsites and bird watchers paradise.

3. Ngong Hills.

It is located at the Northern tip of Kajiado and its main points of interest include; hiking sites, camping, and picnic sites. Nonetheless, it is a great walking trail within the hills that offers a great walking safari.

4. Selenkay Conservancy.

This protects the wildlife habitat and encourages wildlife conservation as an alternative to farming for the local community. Moreover, wildlife in this conservancy include; Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, and Gazelles.

5. Lake Magadi.

It is a serene and amazing destination for bird lovers, nature lovers, and camping activities. Secondly, it has birds such as flamingos and pelicans.

6. Shampole Conservancy.

Shampole conservancy is a conservation area located between two Alkaline lakes. Lake Magadi to the north and Lake Natron to the south. It features diverse birdlife and wildlife.

7. Nyiri Desert .

It is also known as Nyika desert is located east of lake Magadi. However, this desert has thorny trees and bushes which provide shelter to wildlife.

8. Ol Doinyo Orok Mountain.

It contains a variety of plants, herbs, and animal species. Therefore, it is a perfect destination for hiking activities, nature walks, and game viewing.

9. Maasai Ostrich Farm.

It is a perfect place to learn various facts concerning the life cycle of Ostrich. Secondly, people enjoy ostrich rides at the farm.

10. Ole Polos.

This place is well known for its delicacy “Nyama Choma”, Moreover, it has a glimpse of the Masaai culture and the beautiful sceneries of Ngong ranges.
