Types of Coronavirus.

Beta- this one is among the four genera of coronavirus. However, viruses tend to be enveloped, positive-strand RNA viruses that infect mammals.
Gamma- One of the subfamilies of orthocoronavirinae of the family coronaviridae. Likewise, they envelop, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA viruses of zoonotic origin.
Delta- this is a variant of SARS-COV-2, the virus that causes COVID- 19. This variants’ fast case was from India in 2020.
Omicron- is a variant of SARS-COV-2. However, it was firstly reported to the World Health Organization from South Africa.
There has been only one medication approved for Covid -19 patients. That is the antiviral drug remdesivir. In addition, the Food and Drug Administration also authorize a drug called molnupiravir to treat- mild infections. Moreover, they also authorized convalescent plasma therapy. Again, the U.S National Institutes of Health also recommend the corticosteroid dexamethasone.
