He joined the news business in the Fall of 1985. Morales was working part time at KRBC answering the phone in the evenings while going to college. In addition, he was a Nursing Major but his love and passion for the tv industry grew as he eventually worked his way in the newsroom and worked various areas in the department.
As the saying goes, the rest is history and he has worked in tv in various areas that include, News Photographer, News Reporter, News Assignment Editor, Commercial Production Videographer, and his current love and passion, working in weather as the Abilene Today Meteorologist/Anchor.
Morales is happily married to Theresa and has a daughter Marisol. He also loves animals including his Rat Terrier named Diva, his Sheltie named Jazmyn, and his Pug named Keely. During his leisure time , he can often be found on the highways and byways of the Big Country on his road bike. He is an avid cyclist and enjoys going great distances on his adventures.
