Catherine Kasavuli is a Kenyan lady who has been a news presenter. She was also the first female news anchor in Kenya. So, she worked with leading television stations such as The Kenyan Broadcasting Corporation, Citizen Television, and Kenya Television Network.

However, in the year 2021, Kasavuli went back to KBC as a news anchor.
Illness and death
So, on 26th October 2022, the country got the news of Catherines’ admission at Kenyatta National Hospital while in critical condition. She was suffering from cervical cancer. The country was also heartbroken to receive news that the family was also pleading for urgent blood donations. This is because Catherines’ health was worsening each day.
However, she remained strong and on 14th November 2022, she wrote on her social media account a message that read; “To everyone that visited me, prayed with me, and contributed towards my medical bill, I want to say thank you so much, and may God meet with the desires of your heart. To all my online community that always sending messages of hope and love – I love you all,”
On November 30th, 2022, Catherine breathed her last breath leading the country into mourning. She will be remembered for her great contribution as a media personality and humbleness.
